woke me up

Sometimes we just need someone to wake us up. I liked how you told the story without even saying a word. The mind control idea was cool, I found it funny that the buttons were spelling out the lyrics at the same time they were being sung. Those spaceships look radical! The song fit with most of what was on screen, so good job with that too!

amongst the ...

Where does Turtle go after the planet is furtile? Into space and amongst the stars! Interesting little cartoon. Thanks for making it!

Max-the-Great responds:

no problem, happy to make it.

fun house

It should have more too it, but the dancing house was actually funny and unexpected.

ZekeySpaceyLizard responds:

Hey!

This is the second time you've reviewed one of my shorts.

I am quite lucky to be reviewed by one so famous as you twice.

(I voted for Handicop, btw)

(Yes, this is blatent ass-kissing)

SWEET

ALMOST NAPOLEON! Your moves got better and faster as it progressed!

worth watching a few times!

Cool cartoon. The voice acting was good, but was muffled a bit, probably the compression to get it to 1651kb. Cool graphics too. I liked the blurry wipe transitions, can't have a star wars parody without acknowledging those.

needs more!

The music sounds familiar, if only there were credits to know who it was! One of the voices sounds like Anakin's slave owner from Star Wars Episode 1. Interesting drawing style.

macolme responds:

The music is "Panzerchrist - Death aproaching", and the voices are myself

This ain't no flush!

The Wario Cha-cha-cha-Chia extra was pretty funny! Lots of hard work, and it seems to be paying off, congratulations! Some of the sound mixing needed to be clearer, but the subtitles helped. Good use of mario sounds to make things perverted. Your humor seems to go an extra mile, whereas Randy Solem's humor sort of stays at the toilet.

good work, music advice

Nice work! It was entertaining with the random things that you came up with to show him getting pissed off. The music was important in your cartoon, so good work on your selection of music!

To boost the sound, add another audio layer with the music track starting at the same frame. You can "Copy Keyframe" and then "Paste Keyframe" when you have a new layer.

Good work!

RareFactory responds:

thank you for telling me this, I'll be sure to try that on my next flash if I find the sound really low, thank you for reviewing, and thanks for the advice!

hot diggity damn.

That was wickedly quick. Lots of work! It might be better to watch something like this on TV, where the screen is further away from the eyes. It's nice to see an old-school flash animator putting something out on NG again.

nice show!

How will he help him with the hotdogs!?!?!

Decent stuff, Knox. Some pretty funny humor, I laughed at the parts where something was expected, but nothing came of it.

Why didn't you use any backgrounds to separate the story world from the real world? Maybe the characters are a part of the real world. I don't think the characters need any details. I liked the fingers, mouth, details that are useful at the time they are used. Stop motion must be a bitch, so congrats! Good work on voice acting too. Some music might have helped at certain points, like when he makes his life changing decision. Or dramatic music when the visitor shows up at the end.
