I didn't like it

The drawings needed work, and it needed an overall boost to it. It seemed as if you had an idea and slapped it together roughly. The sound had quality, but the visuals did not meet up with it.

good work

I didnt know that you submitted this over a year ago. I watched it for the first time and liked it. It has a solitude to it.

frightening!

I jumped at the end. It was totally unexpected. It provides a great dark horrific theme to it. It will be great when Halloween comes up again! I can't wait. I love halloween! I'm glad that you were inspired by me!

Great Flash

Did you draw this good before the institute? I toured the Seattle Art Institute as well as the Minneapolis Art Institute, I even applied! But I did not go through with it. The Seattle one had some great grad. work, but the MN one sucked ass! I don't usually say that. I am now at a 4 year! Life is alright. Your flash is alright too.

Swenson responds:

No, I started getting better at drawing just by making myself draw something everyday--now I draw at least 4-5 hours to meet deadlines. But the fact is I still gotta improve on things like anatomy and movement, especially within animation. Flash is forgiving since it's often acceptable to be stiff but I think that will change as more people push the medium.
If I could go back in time I would go to Cal Arts or Canada for one of their Animation schools. Art Institutes are there just to shovel in students and get their money. I'm still paying off a large student loan. I just didn't know any better at the time that if you want to go into animation find something better than the Art Institutes. I've never heard of a studio recruiting from them (I could be wrong, they are offering computer animation now). They didn't require a good portfolio to get in and that's the tipoff. A lot of students were there just to party on Daddy's money or waste their loans--no competitive air to inspire you.

Great sea scene

This was highly entertaining, and I highly recommend it to you!

Comical

Batman went crazy alright! I'd never expect it to happen, but it did happen. We should feel sorry, we used BATMAN to our advantage. Too many spotlights in the night sky.

I SAW SHAWN!!

Hey Shawn, that is you in the movie. Ah good use of killing horrible "celebrities." They funniest part, THE FUNNIEST PART... ...was when they were slapping at each other when fighting. We need some Ned Flanders action on this!

fabulous999 responds:

Actually Shawn didn't make this. John did. ME, NOT SHAWN. I threw him in there because he was whining.

Informative

I missed the interview, but now I know it all. Thanks to EntropicOrder for recording it, and THANKS to Tom for making the site with flash way back in the day. Oh I remember the Teletubbies viewing the flash in Spring 99. It's really great that newgrounds is getting more publicity, it's great for everyone. A common flash maker can get some traffic. Okay, thanks for the movie that's what this review is about. :)

Yuck

I am not one to review movies that I don't like. I am watching Star Trek NG now, and I saw picard on my computer screen, as well as TV screen. Confusing, and I give a grade A for nastiness.

The best fighting toon on NG

This is the best and longest fighting toon on NG that I have seen. Wow. I am amazed. One of these days someone should put Sloth into a fighting game, to make it comical, but yet serious. Sloth Vs. Wonka, the ultimate chocolate battle.
