too generous to the viewer, to help us along, with the extra highlight in the torso. I can easily see his other leg, but the other shoulder is hard to see. I've seen your other submissions, you're good with the body!

a different weakness?

I enjoyed your comments almost as much as the artwork. Maybe your weakness isn't realism (a whole other art type). I don't know of a favorite artist that is well-rounded, amazing in more than one type of art. People fall in love with an artist's style, unless for some serious personal reason, why would an artist change what he/she is known for. People want to grow and that's healthy to pursue other avenues. Maybe you'll reach a hybrid type of art, like Alfons Mucha, kind of illustrated and realistic at the same time. In a strange way, this piece is not far from that, incorporates nature, elegant pose, female body, black outline.
