not very good right now

You think there are no sounds? You made the game! It needs a ton of work! Cool ice and desert levels, but I couldn't play them because my sock turned invisible on the first level! The green portal never worked! Same "bugs" that the other reviews got!

DrDeath2k3 responds:

Yeah, this is why i gave up on game making. I'll leave it to the pros.

Interesting, some ideas

Interesting, I had some trouble quickly learning the rules for the tutorial. Maybe if those were easier, like a button that says "help" instead of down arrow, or the splat. Nice layout, you spent time making it, instead of print screening it, but then it contradicts the code you tell me to copy and paste! :) oh well. I would have liked to have tested out what it was supposed to do in, the final product, at the very end.

Everblayde responds:

Lets see here. I remember my friend having a problem with my tutorial if he copied using ctrl-c. So, I guess try copying using rightclick > copy. If thats not the problem maybe I made an error.

great!

Really good, it felt like you stayed true to the characters. I spent 20 minutes on it already, and didn't even realize it. The jellyfish link had too much bandwidth! It could use some more sounds, and/or background music.

promising

Pretty good ga,e I wish I could program that good. I've only focused on animating. I heard you were looking for an animator, I wish I had enough time to donate some of my time to your game!

Gremlin9 responds:

I wish you did too...

Alien Hominid is intense.

Damn you guys put together one hot game. The musical score kept the game going at an intense speed. The graphics were like liquid, very cool. The programming, it didn't call attention to itself at all, it must have taken a long time to program that. My only gripe is that I suck and I could only get passed the green laser Robot, just before the grenades. I love working with aliens and robots, so it's in my ballpark of likeable topics.

i want to win!

He has a sword and shield, let him use it. It was really hard to start out. Great graphics and interactivity that was there. I wanted to get further in the game, but I just couldn't.

stuff to work on?

The monitoring system showed that I blew his brains away, but I didn't, I knocked him out. If you set a variable on that, you can refer back to the correct actions that the player took. Same with the whole overall score. Add a variable "score" and keeping adding "score + 1" to it, when they player clicks the right button.

It was entertaining, some animated parts seemed too slow and less realtime.

fun!

Dennis, this was fun for about 20-30 minutes. You should provide closure to the game. It took me about a 1 minute to know what the controls were, since I just rushed right into the game. The player should choose some musical traks/loops within the game, instead of providing their own music.

lost interest.

I got bored after the first level. The player moves too slow. cool that you combined different movie characters into one level! The graphics were great. The controls were alright too, but it was just kind of boring. The quality is there, but my interest isn't. Maybe some humor might help it. These games are a dime a dozen, make it MORE original. Maybe he collects rare dildos and when he gets 10 of them, he can attach them to make the ultimate fighting weapon!

not bad at all. but it crazed!

This was pretty fun, but as I ended the first level, it crashed on me, and revealed all of the codes to the game! But now I see that you included them in your notes. Overall, it was fun and enjoyable, and on my 56k modem, worth the download. No sound for me though. Hmmm.
